Wrights Pond

Wright's Pond, located on Elm Street,  offers swimming, picnicking and shaded areas for relaxing. Hiking and fishing are also available. You must obtain a Pass for access and use of the facility. For more information click on this link:  Wright's Pond 

TUFTS POOL
Main St. Swimming Lessons available. For Pool hours and more info contact the Department of Recreation at (781) 393-2486 or DPW Office 781-393-2417(summer only). Tufts Pool has both wading and deep water facilities.
Facility is manned by lifeguards, bath house attendants and park police.

Medford High School
489 Winthrop St. A Multi-Use facility, new track and basketball/volleyball courts, olympic size swimming pool, and 300 seat theatre. Second largest high school in the Commonwealth. For further info contact the Superintendent's Office (781) 393-2268

Parks
Over the past five years, Medford has conducted an aggressive park improvement project. Most of the city's twenty-one parks have been rehabilitated, and they offer new soccer fields, football fields, softball/baseball fields, multi-use courts for basketball, tennis, and street hockey. In addition, most have new, acessible play structures.
